Teaser Tuesday (#2): July 8, 2014

Teaser Tuesdays (TT) is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Randomly open a page.
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
(Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
    • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
    • Share a link to your own Teaser Tuesday in the Comments and I’ll be checking it out! 🙂

Here’s my Teaser Tuesday for the week 🙂

    City of Bones

“There,” he said, straightening up. Clary fixed her arm in wonder– though the blood was still there, the wound was gone, as were the pain and stiffness. “And the next time you’re planning to injure yourself to get my attention, just remember that a little sweet talk works wonders.”

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

What are you currently reading? Join the fun and share your book’s interesting teasers below! 🙂

  1. My Teaser Tuesday is from Kat Zhang’s “What’s Left of Me.”

We were numb for the rest of the day. There were too many people, too many pairs of eyes.

    • You’re right. At first it was kind of slow but as a friend of mine (who recommended it to me) said, I should persevere. The thrilling part is in the last parts and the second book. 🙂 I had to read it, since I was really curious about The Mortal Instruments world. 🙂
