Teaser Tuesday (#1): July 1, 2014

Teaser Tuesdays (TT) is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Randomly open a page.
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
(Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
    • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
    • Share a link to your own Teaser Tuesday in the Comments and I’ll be checking it out! 🙂

    ——————————————————————————————————————

Hey, guys! Howdy? Welcome to my weekly post of Teaser Tuesdays! As mentioned above, I will be posting a certain part of my current read and show you some of its interesting moments.

So, here’s my teaser for this week:

    Origin“But your family, Daemon? Your—“

“You’re more important.” The moment those words came out of my mouth, I knew they were true. Family had always come first for me, and Kat was a part of my family — a bigger part. She was my future.

Origin (Lux, #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

What are you currently reading? Join the fun and share your book’s interesting teasers below! 🙂

  1. I love the idea of Teaser Tuesday! I just might have to include this on my blog at some stage… *thoughtful face*

“This time we were in the Great Room enduring another etiquette lesson when bricks came flying through the window… Celeste let out a high-pitched scream and bolted toward the back of the room, barely escaping a shower of glass.”

I’m not quite sure if I did that right but that was from “The One” by Kiera Cass

  2. Reblogged this on Live. Laugh. Read. and commented:
I just read this post and it sounds like an awesome idea. My teaser of the week shall be from “The One” by Kiera Cass.

    (Imagine this in italics)

Kriss did another stitch. “I’m going to stay no matter what.” Something about the way she said it seemed to be directed specifically at me. Like I needed to know she wasn’t giving up on Maxen.
    “Same here,” I promised.

    (End of italics)

I know that was more than two sentences but I’ve decided that I won’t limit it to that. Please comment with your teasers and let me know what you’re up to. 🙂

      • Me too! To tell you the truth, I actually haven’t read it yet, but I’m aiming to start it today. I’ll post a review once I’ve finished (which I have a feeling will be rather short – I’m still trying to figure out how to do my book reviews) and we can discuss! XD. I actually read partway through “Origin” a little whole ago, too. Unfortunately, I had to give it back to the library and have it on hold again.

  3. Wow, so you’re also big on LUX SERIES? That makes the two of us! 🙂 It’s really cool. I’d be looking forward for your review on THE ONE so we can babble about it and fangirl together.. 😀
